PRODUCT QUESTIONS

This is the most frequently asked question in the flag industry and unfortunately, there is no exact answer. This is due to many factors including weather conditions, air pollutants, shade or full sun flying, customer care, flag type, material, and logo imprint method purchased. We offer many flag construction grades (good, better, best), however, regardless of how well it is constructed, a flag is not indestructable and no two flags will wear the same. With that said, we have provided a few suggestions to extend the life of any flag:
Do not fly a wet flag. If possible, take it down before the storm. Wind whipping a heavy wet flag puts excessive strain on the fabric, stitching, grommets, or sleeve. If your flag becomes wet, spread it out on a flat surface and allow it to dry completely before attaching to your flagpole.
Do not fly where the flag will touch other surfaces including roofs, shingles, soffits, eaves, gutters, downspouts, branches, antennas, and cables.
Do not fly in rain, snow, or excessive winds. If possible, take your flag down before the storm arrives.
From time to time, gently hand wash your flag to remove air pollutants and spread it out on a flat surface until it dries completely before flying again.
